On to opening two and ending two we go!

The opening is from the band B.B. Queens, who probably are most famous for doing the catchy Chibi Maruko-chan song “Odoru Ponpokorin.” Both songs are rather ridiculous and loud.

The ending, on the other hand, is sung by Hiromi Yonemura. She offers a cute, light poppy song love song to close each episode.

Also in this episode, we see Masaaki Yuasa’s first (?) credit on the TV series. He is listed as doing key animation. Can you pick his work out of this episode? I’m leaning towards this cut or potentially many of the interactions in the third segment! Let me know what you think!

That reminds me, with the new op/ed beginning this episode, I’ve decided to translate (most of) the credits. It might seem like a lot of text, and it is, but I like having them there. You can always turn the subs off if it’s too much 😛

The highlight of the episode was definitely the first part 😀 I usually like the Misae vs Shin-chan at home episodes best, but this fight going on exactly like in the Action Mask episode and Misae starting to actually laugh like a villain was just pure genious.
Though I also never get tired of the bookstore ladies doing their weird poses, too xD

I think I like the first OP more tho, I guess it’ll take some more episodes for me to get used to it. Howver, I already like the new ED more than the first one, so there’s that. Also I think there has been a subtle change in how the characters are drawn, especially Shin. It’ll be fun to see how the drawing style changes into what I know from the TV!

    Amazing job as always, thanks!

As we all know that the previous VA of Shin-chan retired the role, and it’ll take time to get used to the new one which is not that bad at all.

When is the release of the RAW of the latest movie?
We appreciate all your work. I hope you don’t get tired.! 😂

The first 44 episodes are the only episodes that are available in their entirety (OP/segment 1/2/3/ED/Preview) on DVD. The rest are only available segment by segment, and even then, some segments are not available on DVD.
